AWWA is a period underwear brand from Aotearoa, founded by Kylie Matthews & Michele Wilson. As mothers to daughters, they wanted to create a brand that is more than just a product. AWWA was born to advocate for, break down the barriers, and unpack the stigma around periods that we have all faced. Inspired by traditional Māori attitudes around ikura (periods), AWWA is all about reconnecting to your cycle.
