How should I prepare my items before sending them in?
How should I prepare my items before sending them in?
- Do a wear-and-tear inspection. We recommend examining areas like under the arms, the crotch region, and around the seams.
- Make sure all your items are clean and freshly washed.
- Remove items from all pockets.

We’re currently working with a 35 business day turnaround (that’s Monday to Friday). Sometimes things can take a little longer if we receive a high influx of shipments.

What happens to items you don't accept?
What happens to items you don't accept?
If any items were not processed, it means they were not accepted during our inspection due to reasons such as unacceptable labels or wear and tear.
Unaccepted items are either:
- Donated to local community causes, from universities and schools to the charity partners we support year-round.
- Recycled through our partner - After, to be up-cycled into new yarn or furniture upholstery.

- We don't accept shoes, men's clothing, low-quality or unbranded jewellery, ball gowns, and traditional attire.
- Items showing signs of wear and tear, such as pilling, stains, worn/stretched-out fabric or unpleasant odours
- Lower-end labels with low re-sale value. See brands we don’t take.
- Damaged items. Look out for holes/rips and broken zips.
Please note that any unaccepted items will not be returned, and we’re unable to provide individual feedback on each piece. To avoid this, please make sure to read through the guidelines carefully.

We’ll email you as soon as your Tidy Kit arrives at our HQ. If you send multiple kits at different times, you’ll receive a separate email for each one.
Sometimes our emails can end up in your junk or promotions folder, please check there first.

How do you price items?

Our pricing algorithm factors in the brand, condition, and style of each item, benchmarking it against other resale platforms to ensure every piece is competitively priced, reflects true market value, and has the best chance of selling quickly.
How much can I earn?
How much can I earn?
We use a sliding pay-scale. The more your items sell for, the more you earn!
Your Payout:
Under $5 → no pay-out
$5.00 - $9.99 → 3%
$10.00 - $19.99 → 15%
$20.00 - $49.99 → 30%
$50.00 - $99.99 → 40%
$100.00 - $199.99 → 50%
$200 or more → 60%
Some lower-priced items don’t qualify for a payout because the costs involved in processing them are higher than their resale value.

At the end of your 60-day listing period, we’ll automatically email you a form to choose what happens next. (Can’t find your form? Check your junk/promotions folder for an email from us!)
You can decide to:
- Receive store credit
- Donate your earnings
- Get a direct bank transfer
If you’d like your unsold items returned, you can request this in the form (postage/admin fee applies).
If we don’t hear back within 10 working days, we may not be able to return your items.
Please note: all payments and returns are processed at the end of each month.
